To be considered a classic English novelist, most authors have to write dozens of books in their lifetime in order to gain public recognition and esteem. Emily Bronte was an exception to the rule; the young author wrote only one piece of literature before her sudden death when she grew ill from contaminated runoff water from a church graveyard. The only legacy Bronte left behind was her book, Wuthering Heights- a tale of a tragic man with a morbid past and his lost lover, Catherine. The book is expertly written, romantically becoming, and neigh impossible to put down. Add a little romance to your summer and pick up a copy of Wuthering Heights and fall in love with tragedy all over again.
Wuthering Heights is now one of my favorite book thanks to your recommendation! Any more suggestions?
